Object Rocket Account post-contest

Hello!

On the rules page, I noticed that ObjectRocket accounts will be terminated unless we set up a paying account:

"30 days following the Winners Announced Date, ObjectRocket will discontinue your free account unless you make arrangements to continue the service. If you do not make arrangements to continue with a paid ObjectRocket service, ObjectRocket will delete your account and any data or application stored thereon."

I'd really like to work on this challenge, but this part is a deal-breaker for me since I'd like to be able to add it to my portfolio and do not want to pay $19/month to continue to keep my site up. Is there any way that we can keep these sites up on a free plan?

    Hi Liam,

    Thanks for writing. Currently there are no plans to offer a continuing free plan beyond the competition. If you want to continue to host the app after the competition, you should review the hosting options at that time. If anything changes, we will update all registrants.

    Other than making screenshots, a video of an application, or some other recording method, and pending what else Stefanie finds out, having a plan that lasts longer than the free plan might be the only other option to maintain an application for portfolio references.
